Award Winning, Signature Walnut Burl Frame Presentation:
If you’ve seen my work at any art show or gallery, you’ve more than likely seen my walnut burl presentation. Personally, this framing is what’s given me an edge in the competitive fine art photography market. The image is printed on half inch wood board, finished with a UV acrylic coating. This allows the print to have a glossy and dramatic shine without using glass, but still protects the image from any water, stains, or fading. Next I take the panel and seal it on a stone laminate that coincides with the particular image. Using granite, sandstone, marble and many other stones to match the image. Finally I frame the panel with a beautifully textured walnut burl in either a rich brown, or coal black veneer.
